What made you join FaceBook?

What got you to join FaceBook? Was it friends? Peer group pressure maybe?

Many of my other school friends were on it and thought, may swell as join it so we can all catch up with each other. I also use Facebook more recently to socialise with family and potential new visitors to my website

I joined Facebook because it enabled me to talk to my friends and check out what everyone is upto easily and its a great social network

I joined Facebook to see what my friends are up to and to keep them up to date with me

Only reason I joined up was to talk to some friends that moved away, otherwise my page is pretty empty compared to a regular user.

I joined Facebook back when I was a lot younder to play a game by Zynga called YoVille

Because everyone else was on it lol

The main reason was to find people that I'd lost contact with years ago, mostly early high school friends, friends I hung out with when I was younger. I also joined because it was an efficient way to stay interconnected with people in my community. I'm trying to not become addicted to Facebook, but to utilize it when necessary.
