Do you actually buy CDS anymore?
With the rise in digital downloads, do you actually buy a cd whether it be from an offline or online music store?

I don't buy CDs anymore considering it is too much effort to then transfer them to my phone and or iPod. It's much easier and cheaper to buy MP3s online

I use CDS in the car.

Re: Do you actually buy CDS anymore?
It depends on the artist.
If I'm a big fan of them I will still always buy a physical copy of their album

Yep, I still even put my music on CDs. And I actually still record my music on cassette tapes. I like having physical copies of stuff. I learned from experience not to entirely store stuff exclusively on computer, one virus - POOF - all gone.

That's a good point actually. I still buy CD's sometimes but only if I like the artist.

You you definitely can haha.
They're almost impossible to find in the UK though. The internet has them though.
Re: Do you actually buy CDS anymore?
Only thing I see is people claiming that cassette tapes will make their return one day.
Re: Do you actually buy CDS anymore?
I hope they never come back, they were a pain if the tape got messed up.
I would like to see a full return of vinyls.

I can only just remember cassettes but not vinyls haha. Maybe they will for a trend too?
Re: Do you actually buy CDS anymore?

You can get them at Radio Shack and sometimes even department stores (usually around Christmas). Same with VHS tapes.

One thing I know will never make a comeback is the 8 track tape. They were out before my time, but I played around with a few machines. Talk about a broken down contraption. Usually one of two things happen. Either it plays two songs at once, or if you are more misfortunate, it will spit out the tape all over the place to where you have to spend an hour trying to untangle it out of all the mechanisms in the machine
